Drop In: Transgender Day of Remembrance
Event description
Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day of gathering, togetherness, and community solidarity. We remember those we've lost, celebrate our strength in the face of adversity, and commit to continuing to create a better, safer, and more inclusive world for everyone.
Join us in observing this day at AGA House, where we will be sharing stories, decorating stones in dedication to those we've lost, and adding to our memorial garden a plaque, native plants, and ceramic flowers lovingly crafted by Kim from Bermagui Mudworks.
This event is open to all trans, gender-diverse, and intersex people and their loved ones.
---
We encourage all who come to events wear a facemask and are double vaccinated (and where possible have received your booster shot) unless you have a medical exemption.
Accessibility: AGA House is equipped with an accessible parking space, ramp entrance and an accessible bathroom. If you want to attend but are unsure if this event is accessible to you, please contact us at the contact details below.
