Event description

This is a free online information session for the Upper Hunter Drought Resilience Program with Verified RegenGrown.

The program runs for 12 weeks and commences on 15 August.

Farmers across Singleton, Muswellbrook and the Upper Hunter are no strangers to drought. But regeneration offers a different path forward—one grounded in understanding your land, making better decisions with less guesswork, and building resilience that lasts beyond the next dry spell.

This session is for farmers who are interested in joining Verified RegenGrown—a verification program by Carbon8 that helps you measure what matters most, monitor change, and communicate your commitment to land care with confidence.

Thanks to the Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program and support from the NSW Environmental Trust, we're offering a heavily subsidised program cost for local producers.

What you’ll learn at this session:

  • What the Verified RegenGrown Program is including an introduction to the online platform

  • How the program supports better water retention, soil health, and ecological decision-making on your farm

  • What’s included in the Toolkit and how you will be supported in using it to take measurements

  • How to access expert guidance and peer support through the online program

Usually priced at $1,950, farmers in these regions can participate in the 12-week program, commencing 15 August, for just $195, which goes toward your RegenGrown Toolkit.

Following the online session on 7 August, we’ll be hosting two in-person gatherings after the program kicks off on 15 August. These optional events offer farmers who’ve signed up the chance to come together in person at the start of the journey.

Whether you're already implementing regenerative practices or just beginning to explore what’s possible, this program is here to walk alongside you.

Join us and find out how to get out of drought better than you went in.
