    Join us for a showcase of students who are undertaking a six-month placement in Drug ARM’s Community and Family Support Services.

    Students will proudly share learnings related to their volunteering experience through posters and presentations. Some of the topics covered include:

    • The Contribution of CAFSS to the Mental Health Sector 
    • Domestic Violence in Alcohol and other Drug Settings
    • Working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Clients in the Context of Alcohol and other Drugs
    • Self-care and Burnout
    • Grief and Loss in the Context of Substance Use
    • How the Transtheoretical Model is Used to Inform Counselling in AOD Settings
    • Exploring How Counsellors Implement Trauma-informed Care in AOD Settings
    • and more!

    Please come along to this interesting and informative event and celebrate the contribution that student volunteers make to the alcohol and other drug sector.

    Drug ARM’s student placement program hosts over 50 students annually in their final year of psychology, counselling, social work and related studies.
