Drumming for Wellbeing with Cherie
Event description
Rhythm is great for grounding ourselves and building our resilience. These sessions support wellbeing of mind and body.
Come along and learn simple hand drumming techniques in a small group. Have fun creating rhythms together. Our facilitator, Cherie, will bring the djembe drums and percussion instruments, and will facilitate the sessions based around themes of wellbeing.
There are 9 weekly sessions on Monday afternoons through July, August and September at Enfield Community Centre.
Start anytime. First session free for a "come'n'try".
Coming to sessions regularly can assist your wellbeing and also helps build the group cohesion.
Adults of all ages welcome. The building is accessible throughout with level entry from the car park, and accessible toilet facilities. We are seated to play the djembes. Please contact Cherie beforehand with any queries, to arrange a come'n'try session, and to discuss any particular support needs, as adaptations can often be developed with some prior notice. Up to two Companion Cards accepted per session.
Cherie welcomes all enquiries - mobile 0401 065 234.
