DSIDQ Masquerade Ball 2026

The DSIDQ Masquerade Ball is our major annual fundraising event, bringing together the community, corporate partners, advocates, and supporters to celebrate inclusion while raising vital funds to support people with intellectual disabilities across Queensland.

This year’s event will take the form of a masquerade ball, aligned with the powerful theme, Discover the Real Me. The theme challenges stereotypes surrounding people with intellectual disability and encourages the community to look beyond assumptions, labels, and perceptions to truly see the individual for who they are — their personality, strengths, talents, and aspirations.

Including a three-course meal, welcome drink and canapés on arrival, live band, dancing, photobooth, silent auctions, live auction, and raffles, this is more than just a fundraising event. The DSIDQ Masquerade Ball is a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Funds raised on the night will support DSIDQ’s advocacy, programs, resources, and services that empower people with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, connected, and fulfilling lives.
