Join Chef Andrew Koch for a masterclass in duck and risotto.
Andrew is Geelong born and bred and has worked in many top venues across Victoria including a long stint at renowned Italian restaurant Caffe e Cucina in Chapel St Melbourne.
Fluent in Italian language and the food of Italy, Andrew will take you through using a whole duck and breaking it down, to how to cook and make a traditional stock.
He'll then teach and inform you about risotto - the dish that looks simple but is so hard to prepare well. He'll talk you through and show you all the different rice varieties, teach you his tips and tricks to make sure you've mastered the art of a perfect duck and porcini mushroom risotto by the end of the class - ready to sit down and be tucked into and to be made again at home.
Class will run for approximately 2.5 hrs.
Classes limited to 10 participants.
Please advise of any dietary issues, however, this class will involve the use of onion, garlic, mushrooms and duck.
