Planting Bee - Dunlop Microforest - 24th May
Event description
Join us on Saturday 24th May 2025 to continue planting the new Dunlop Microforest, dry creek bed and pollinator patch!
After a fantastic April planting bee, we're back in May to plant another 500 native trees, shrubs, groundcovers, climbers and grasses. We'll also be spreading mulch and watering the plants. All welcome!
Time: There are two sessions today: 9.15am-10.15am, and 10.30am-11.30am. Feel free to choose one or stay for both!
What to bring: Please wear enclosed shoes and gardening clothes. If you have any of the following, please bring your gardening gloves, a sturdy hand tool for digging, rake, buckets and wheelbarrow.
Contact: If you have any queries, please email communications@ginninderralandcare.org.au.
Future planting bees: There will be another planting bee in June 2025. If you can't make the May event, email us with your interest and we'll pop you on an email list to be alerted when the June date is announced.
We look forward to seeing you at Canberra's newest micro-forest!
