Event description
Join RiverConnect, Greater Shepparton City Council and GV Water for a social afternoon of planting Indigenous plants along the top banks of Dunyak Moira Fishing Ponds, Merrigum.
Did you know there's less than 2% of native vegetation left in Greater Shepparton?
Residents of Merrigum and surrounds are invited to come along and plant for future generations to enjoy.
This is a free event and all planting materials are provided.
A planting demonstration will be given at the beginning of the event.
Please wear sturdy enclosed shoes, long pants and bring a drink bottle.
This planting session is part of Greater Shepparton's One Tree Per Child Program.
