Come along to our first Permablitz for spring.
The blitz is at a unique rural property with an off-grid set-up.
During this Blitz we will be setting up a grape vine area, mulching and adding compost to the berry areas, repairing the anti-aviary, rehanging a gate, among many other projects.
Jobs may include:
Setup grape vine trellis fence
Build IBC wicking beds
Weed & mulch the strawberry bed
Mulch the orchard trees
Compost the raspberry patch
Repair the orchard anti-aviary netting
Set-up an irrigation line and fit new sprinklers
Rehang the orchard entry gate
Carmel our host was one of last year's Permaculture Design Course graduates with the Ballarat Permaculture Guild and is keen to start implementing some of the ideas she has learnt.
Children are welcome to participate. However please be aware that there are hazards on the property including dams, and children will need to be supervised across the day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided by the host, so registration is essential for catering purposes. Please register a FREE ticket for each attendee (including children) and advise any dietary requirements.
What to bring:
