Dusk Wildlife Walk and Talk (adults)

Help us collect valuable data for the Great Southern Bioblitz! Join our Boroondara wildlife expert, Angus from Life Gone Wild for this walk around the Billabong. This walk will focus on the animals that call this billabong home, such as birds, frogs, bats, marsupials and insects. Record your sightings on the iNaturalist app to contribute important data to the Greater Melbourne Great Southern Bioblitz.

We encourage you to download the free iNaturalist app prior to the event so that you can record your sightings and contribute data to this global citizen science challenge, but this is not essential. You can watch a recording of an iNaturalist app training session to learn more about using the app.

Please bring a torch, wear appropriate shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground Billabong and come prepared for cold and wet weather!

There will be an opportunity for a hot cuppa and a biscuit after the walk. If you have a specific dietary need, please feel free to bring your own drink and snack
