    Event description

    About the Film

After a 75-year-old immigrant mother gets fired from her job, her son takes her on an adventure to help her reclaim her life. As she struggles to find work, he documents a journey that uncovers the economic insecurity shaping not only her future, but that of an entire generation. Through emotional and compelling storytelling, Duty Free aims to not only increase visibility of older folks, but to re-characterise this generation for who they really are: human, capable, productive, useful, beautiful and important.
