Dying to Know Day 2025 - Nobody Knows
Event description
The City of Busselton and Busselton Hospice Care Inc. invite you to share your secret.
Busselton Hospice Care will deliver a presentation on Advanced Care Planning. Following the session, Busselton Hospice Care Volunteers will be on hand to provide practical support for you to begin your own plan.
City of Busselton Staff will also be on hand to provide information and answer questions about burial and interment options.
This year, we’re shining a light on the power of intergenerational conversations. Why? Because only 53% of Australians feel comfortable talking to a family member about their end-of-life. We encourage all generations to come together, share their wishes and have the meaningful conversations that matter most.
Dying to Know Day is national day aimed to normalise conversations about death, dying and grief, encouraging individuals to learn about, discuss, and plan for their own end-of-life, and to support others in doing the same.
