Join local florist Suzanne as she takes you through the history of the role of flowers for funerals.

12:15pm – 1:15pm: Life Rites Doula Care and Home Vigils - Victoria Spence & Kim Somerville

Learn about what it means to be a holistic funeral company led by doulas and why our model of care helps bridge the gaps in death literacy. Discover choices you not even know exist for you and your people.

In this session you will see how a cool plate and cuddle cot works.

1:30pm – 2pm: Behind the Scenes of the Mortuary - Sarah Barry & Vicki Melson

OR

1:30pm – 2pm: The Politics of Funeral Flowers - Suzanne Robbins from Bold Botanicals

OR

1:30pm – 3pm: Q&A and Death Cafe - the whole Life Rites team

Regather in the foyer, drink tea, eat snacks, and chat with the Life Rites team and Suzanne from Bold Botanicals, and with each other. Ask us the burning questions you've been dying to know, and leave a bit more ready for life, end of life, and those conversations you'd like to have with your loved ones. As our sessions throughout the day have a lot of information in them, this Q&A and Death Cafe time is allocated for you to ask your questions, rather than at the end of each session.
