We will be spinning queer tunes, and your fabulous host Andi Climax will guide you through the evening.

Here’s the deal: we’re bringing together our fabulous community for a speed dating extravaganza that’s as unique as you are. Think lightning-fast dates, quirky conversation starters, and an atmosphere that’s warm and inclusive. 🌟

You’ll get the chance to chat with a variety of wonderful folks in short, snappy rounds. Who knows? You might just find the perfect partner for your next adventure, or at least make some awesome new friends. So, bring your authentic self, your open heart, and let’s make some sparks fly! ⚡️🔥

🕕 6.00pm Check in - arrive on Middle Bar and grab your name tag and colour coded stickers. Please arrive on time.

⏱️ 6.20pm Speed Dating - 8-12 speedy dates with fun conversation prompts.

🗣️ 7.20pm Mingle - have a relaxed chat with someone you didn't get to meet, or one of the speedy dates who caught your eye.

💃 8.00pm Dance the night away (entry to Dyakdellic Dance Party included in your ticket price).

One ticket’s all you need! Please note that Dykadellic dance party tickets are non-refundable. If you’ve accidentally scooped up both tickets, we can’t offer a refund for the dance party.

❓ I'm single, is this event for me? Absolutely. Come alone and let us take care of your nerves with conversation starters and a fun atmosphere.

👫 I have a partner, is this event for me? If your partner is happy for you to come to a dating event, then so are we.

💕 I'm single and only into dating singles, is this event for me? You'll attend a bunch of short dates with different kinds of people. Not everyone will be your type, but enjoy a chat with everyone. 5 minutes later you'll be on another date.

🙃 I'm not sure if this event is for me, help! Message us @dykadellic on Insta and we'll clarify any confusion. 

🌟 What's the age range? This event is for folks 40+ years. We have another event on the same night for folks 20-40 years.

🔢 How many dates will I go on? You'll go on between 8 and 12 short and sweet dates during the dating round.

🕕 How long will the dates be? A very speedy 5 minutes, so make sure you're ready to get to the juicy stuff right away. 

🤔 Will I have a date with every person? Nope. You'll date about half of the people. While you won't date everyone, you'll have plenty of opportunities after the event to chat with others you didn’t date.

⚡️Do I need to prepare anything? Just bring your fabulous self and an open mind! We’ve got the rest covered.

👗 Is there a dress code? Come as you are – whether that’s glammed up or dressed down. Comfort and authenticity are key.

😞 Something has happened, and I can't come. No stress. Cancel your ticket for a refund up to 1 day before the event.

🚶‍♂️ Are there stairs? Yeah, there are heaps of stairs. You'll start the night on Middle Bar (on level 1) the later you might want to head on up to Standard (the nightclub on level 2). There are no lifts or escalators. If stairs are an issue, this might not be the event for you.
