Event description

The Stay Afloat Mental Health and Wellbeing program brings Mental Health First Aid to our community in an online format. At any point in time, 1 in every 5 Australian’s are experiencing mental illness. Research has shown that the numbers may be even higher amongst our seafood community. Stay Afloat has worked with Mental Health First Aid Australia to specifically tailor a number of the learning examples to suit common challenges in Seafood. The course is delivered by people who understand the particular stressors that are often faced.

Who can attend?

Any employee or business owner in the commercial seafood sector (including aquaculture), their family or friends over 18 years of age.
