Food, Fibre & Agritech Challenge Finale Showcase | ChristchurchNZ

Join us on 11 May 2021, following Day One of E Tipu 2021 | The Boma NZ Agri Summit. Watch the Food, Fibre & Agritech Challenge finalists pitch their solutions to an expert judging panel to determine who will be awarded the titles of overall Challenge winners.

The ChristchurchNZ Food, Fibre & Agritech Challenge started on February 14th 2021. The Finale will showcase the very best innovative, primary industry-focused business solutions developed during our 6-week Accelerator Programme. Solutions will come from both the business sector, as well as researchers from our universities and research institutes.

Six prizes will be awarded from the following two streams: 

• Generating value-added, high-impact food, fibre and agriculture products
• Assisting on-farm automation and decision making 

Two overall Challenge winners will also be announced for each stream.

The Food Fibre & Agritech Supernode Challenge aim is to inspire innovators to create new, disruptive solutions for the food, fibre and agritech sector with the potential for global impact.

The Challenge is powered by ChristchurchNZ, partnered with AgResearch, Canterbury Mayoral Forum and Kiwinet and delivered by B.linc Innovation and University of Canterbury’s Centre for Entrepreneurship.
