Join Every Australian Counts’ community forum on the Government’s proposed new NDIS planning rules.

The Government is consulting on changes that may affect how NDIS plans are created, how budgets are set, and how decisions are explained. This forum will provide a plain-English overview of what’s being proposed, what’s still unclear, and what people with disability and families are saying matters most.

We’ll cover:

Support Needs Assessments and how they may be used
Budget setting and transparency
Choice, control and flexibility
Reviews, appeals and real-life complexity

This session is for NDIS participants, families, carers, support workers and advocates. You don’t need to have read the consultation papers to attend.

The forum will also explain how you can share your lived experience through the Every Australian Counts survey, which will inform our submission to Government. The consultation closes 6 March 2026.
