Each Child a Light at The Old Print Works

Each Child a Light is a participatory arts initiative creating a quilt in memory of the children killed in Gaza.

We invite you to join us at The Old Print Works for a creative workshop with artists Jane Thakoordin and Fiona Bailey to design and make a square to be included in the quilt. On completion, your squares will be stitched into an expanding collection of panels created by hundreds of people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience, including artists, crafters, activists; community and faith groups; children and students, your contributions adding to this growing testament to the lives of Gaza's children.

*This is a free workshop but registration is essential due to limited places. If you wish and are able you can make a small donation to Gaza Great Minds, an education project in Gaza who's vision is to ensure every child in Gaza has access to education and the chance to rebuild their lives, amidst the genocide & beyond. Their mission is to provide safe tent classrooms providing quality education and much-needed professional psychological support to Gaza’s children.
