Early Childhood Approach Information Session for Parents and Carers 6th March 2024

Wanslea partners with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Early Childhood Approach. The Early Childhood Approach supports families of children under 6 years who may have a developmental concern or delay, or children under 9 years who have a permanent disability. 

Wanslea invites parents and carers to join this free, online information session to learn more about the Early Childhood Approach. The session will cover the following:

• What is the Early Childhood Approach and who are Wanssea as the NDIS partner organisation delivering it.
• Is my child eligible to access supports through the Ealy Childhood Approach or the NDIS?
• What type of supports may be provided to my child and family as part of the Early Childhood Approach. 
• Best Practice Principles for Early Childhood Intervention and how they may relate to my child and family.
• How to refer my child to the Early Childhood Approach at Wanslea.
• Next steps 

This information session may be suitable for you if you are a parent or carer with concerns for your child's development and are considering a referral to the Early Childhood Approach. You may also be interested in attending this session if you would like to know more about the Early Childhood Approach and what supports types of supports are offered.
