Event description

Wanslea partners with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Early Childhood Approach. The Early Childhood Approach supports families of children under 6 years who may have a developmental concern or delay, or children under 9 years who have a permanent disability.

Wanslea invites parents and carers to join this free, online information session to learn more about how to maximise your child's NDIS plan.

The session will cover the following:

  • Understanding the different parts of your child's plan
  • Putting your child's plan into action and turning the funding into supports
  • Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Principles and choosing a service provider
  • Understanding the Myplace Portal and MyNDIS app
  • Next steps

Please note, this workshop is reserved only for parents and carers who are accessing the Early Childhood Approach via Wanslea. It is intended for parents and carers whose child has an approved NDIS plan and would like to learn more about the next steps for putting the plan into action. If you are not a parent or carer accessing the Early Childhood Approach delivered by Wanslea and would like to know more, please email wanslea.admin@ndis.gov.au
