Tue, 1 Jul, 3am - 4am EDT

Event description

This 60 minute information session will assist early childhood employer representatives to increase an understanding of teacher accreditation in NSW.

To support teachers employed in your early childhood services, it will specifically address:

  • teacher accreditation and its relationship to the broader teaching profession
  • teacher accreditation as a workplace process and how requirements relate to teachers’ workplace contexts
  • the employer’s role in guiding and supporting teachers with requirements.

NESA is currently transitioning early childhood teachers and the broader sector to full implementation of NSW’s Teacher Accreditation Manual.

Transition plans will be referred to in this session to assist employers’ operational planning and considerations when employing accredited teachers.

Please email ECemployer@nesa.nsw.edu.au if you have any further questions.
