Thank you for taking the time to express interest in Early Start Screen Smart we really appreciate it, and we’re glad you’re thinking of joining us.

When you book through Humanitix, it will be recorded as an expression of interest.

Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean and Bayswater.


A staff member will give you a call 2–3 weeks before the program starts to complete a simple registration and check in with you about any questions or needs.

All parents and caregivers are welcome, we value diversity and inclusion from all cultural backgrounds, family types, and abilities.

The Early Start Screen Smart Program was developed with parents, for parents and backed by research.

This 3-week program was designed for parents and caregivers with a 0-to 4-year-olds to support their child’s screen time and create healthy screen time habits within their family.

  • The latest evidence

  • Understanding the types of screen time

  • Introducing healthy screen time

  • Everyday challenges and behaviours with screen routines

  • Setting boundaries

  • Having the ‘screen time talk’ with family and friends

  • Interactive co-viewing

  • Online safety

  • Balancing screen time with screen-free activities
