Warm Thursdays in July is an opportunity to explore our relationship with the Earth. In current times we wonder;

What can I do?
What will make a difference?

With long term meditator, Helen Russ Ph.D we will explore, experience and discuss this relationship.

With pandemics, environmental decline, pollution, mass extinctions, displaced people, war and over consumption; what is it to be a positive human being, a positive force on the Earth. In the five weeks we will look at our role as an individual, as part of a group and what is the role of our ‘Place’.

Each week there will be stories, poetry and a presentation that draws from experiential, spiritual and theoretical foundations for our relationship with the Earth. There will be discussion, questions, interactive practices and the final segment of the evening will be a meditation that helps us connect with the Earth in a greater way.

GROUPS - July 22nd we will explore the relationship between organisations and the Earth. Everyone participates in multiplicity of groups, be they families, community, school or work groups. We will explore how groups effect the earth? We will touch on the power of groups before being introduced to a way that we can consciously recognise and work with the spirit of organisations, to support group integrity.

The material for this session has emerged Helen's Ph.D, combined with more than 20 years working with groups and consciousness. This is a revolutionary approach to organisations. It will change the way you work with groups forever.

Integrity In Groups

~~~~~~
Past weeks .....
SELF - July 1st we will touch on the philosophical foundations that suggest that the Earth and us are one living form. What does this mean on a practical front. We will explore if there is a benefit to having an inner life. We will draw on spiritual traditions, both theoretical and experiential. We will explore how we as an individual can be a positive force for the Earth without 'doing' more and without leaving home.
~~~~

OTHER - July 8th we will explore our relationship with 'the other'. The life flowing through you, is the same life flowing through me in a different form. Recognition, presence to presence. Why are relationships the foundation of 'Life'? Why is it important to recognise the 'life' in a tree. What is the affect of acknowledgement and gratitude on other life forms. Does water benefit when we are consciously aware of its spirit?

~~~~
PLACE - July 15th we will explore our relationship with 'place'. Why it matters to have an active and conscious relationship with the place you are living. We will talk about dreaming tracks, earth meridians, energy wells, sacred lines and sacred weaves and how they effect us. We will talk about the healing power of the Earth and why grounding is so important.
Experiential, practical and theoretical
This is an introductory workshop.
Helen has studied consciousness for more than 20 years. She will share anecdotes from her training and her personal experiences, and she will help us learn by doing it with you.
It combines principles of sourcing, reflection, holism, experiential learning and awareness.
Helen often says, its the most fun you can have.
