Earth Carers Course
Event description
Have you ever wanted to know what happens to your waste, or how to live a more low-waste lifestyle? The Earth Carers course is a dynamic four-week program designed for residents within the City of Perth. This course teaches practical ways to live with less and produce less waste.
Join us for the City’s Earth Carers course, where you will learn about global, national, and local waste. The course includes interactive sessions, behind-the-scenes tours, workshops, and demonstrations. The course runs for five sessions starting on Thursday, May 30, 2024, and is tailored for all City of Perth residents (it doesn't matter if you live in an apartment or a house).
Led by waste guru Peg Davies (Lessen with Peg), who boasts over 13 years of experience in the waste industry, the course covers all aspects of waste management, from organics to low-waste living and bin basics. Peg's informative and engaging workshops will address all your questions, supplemented by insights from the City of Perth’s Waste Education Team.
A light supper will be provided during evening sessions, and morning teas will be served during weekend sessions. The course is FREE and promises to equip you with practical skills to reduce waste.
