Earth Day at the Garden
Event description
462 Halsey Community Farm is hosting Earth Day at the Garden for all our neighbors—all ages welcome! Activities will include a book swap (bring a book, take a book) supported by Macon Library, a community composting workshop (from 11:45am-12:15pm), arts & crafts, planting fun, and more. We’ll be sharing information about the garden, membership, and volunteering. Learn how to get involved!
Ticketing: This event is free to the public! If you would like to attend the Composting Workshop at 11:45am during Earth Day, please select the ticketing option that includes the Workshop so we can get an accurate head count. Donations are always appreciated, as our community garden is 100% volunteer-run ♥︎ all funds raised will go towards sustaining the garden.
Public Health Protocols: If you are feeling sick or showing symptoms, please stay home. We encourage testing for COVID-19 before the event, and masking during the event. Please keep hands sanitized. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the garden.
Accessibility Notes: 462 Halsey Community Farm is wheelchair accessible. The closest public bathroom is at Macon Public Library.
