Earth Magic: Red Cedar Communion

Where: Panther Creek, WA

Under the blessing of the full moon, we go to the Earth to pray, hold ceremony, and listen.

The land is asking us to listen right now.  How can we weave ourselves back more fully into the landscape of place in order to be more fully of service to these times? 

Together we will consult the Grandmother Cedar trees, and the sacred waters of Panther Creek. We will offer prayers and ceremony, and practice listening to the more-than-human world.

"Go to the land and listen."

This is what Western Red Cedar recently told me, with the directive to bring others with me.

Red Cedar is one of the grandmother trees of these lands. She is a community gathering place, a hub for networking with the plant kingdom, and a wise elder to guide us.

​My prayer for this day of ceremony is to honor Her, listen to her wisdom for us, and weave our souls into alignment with the heart of these lands. ​

We will hold ceremony, make medicine from Red Cedar, sing, pray, and steep ourselves in the magic of Panther Creek. 

About Plant Ceremony:

When we experience ceremony with plant spirits, we invite ourselves into a wider conversation with our inter-relationship with the Earth and the land. This is what puts us into direct conversation with the mysterious unknown. With the forces of the unseen that weave themselves through all that exists. 

And when we truly begin to see, feel and know the sentience of these more-than-human kin, we begin to really feel our oneness, not from a head-centered place, but from an embodied knowing. We feel a sense of belonging and purpose. We feel a sense of awe, gratitude, and fierce protective love for our inter-species community.

Through plant ceremony, we are able to receive guidance from these living forces of Life, and are brought face-to-face with archetypal energies that exist within us and are expressed through the medicine of the plants. These archetypal energies initiate us into our next layer of healing, or our next level of embodying our soul's authentic expression. 

When we partner with the plants in these sacred ways, the magic that unfolds is life-changing. And is what I truly believe can (and will) change the world.

OUR DAY TOGETHER

In our immersive day together we will be in the forest near Panther Creek Campground in Washington. We'll spend the day communing with the subtle forces of the plants and the land.

We'll be circling up in a forest of Red Cedar trees to hold collective ceremony and have spaciousness to individually connect with the spirit of the Red Cedar and her wisdom. Afterwards, we'll harvest and make medicine from her fronds.

We'll also spend some time by the waters of Panther creek to offer prayers for the Waters and the well-being of the Earth. We'll ask the waters for support in helping us shed what's preventing us personally from stepping more fully into our soul's calling for the world right now.

And we will also have time to gather together to share in circle to learn from, witness, and cultivate connection with one another. 

This day of communion is for:

• The plant people, earth-tenders + spiritual folks feeling the call to deeply listen to the land during these times. 

• Those who are wanting dedicated, devoted space in sacred community, ceremony, and prayer with the plants and the more-than-human world. ​

• Folks who want to do their part to move us into the new collective awakening, in a way that’s aligned with their own soul and the spirit of Earth.

• Those who understand that the technology of collective ceremony and prayer is vitally important, and want to participate in this kind of co-creative magic.

Sliding Scale $95 - $195 for the day

10% will be donated to land and water protection.

Please pay the highest amount that you can. Sliding scale only works when folks who can pay more, choose to do so to support my ability to offer lower cost for those truly in need.
