Join us for the culminating event of Earthminds - a youth-led innovation program where student teams have spent the past 2 terms tackling real-world environmental challenges.
🎤 Team Pitches – Hear each team share what they set out to solve, what they learned, and where they’re headed next.
🧠 Learning Expo – Meet the teams, explore their ideas, and hear firsthand how setbacks, surprises, and small wins shaped their growth.
Meet the Teams:
Marine Team: Using rope-wrapped poles to grow shellfish and restore marine ecosystems—naturally.
E-Waste Team: Testing what really changes e-waste habits, one small pledge at a time.
Clothing Team: Challenging fast fashion with community-driven, low-waste clothing options.
Chia Team: Rethinking how businesses and customers can ditch unnecessary packaging.
Water Team: Tackling water pollution by piloting “Adopt-a-Plot” - a community-powered planting project to stabilise slopes and protect local waterways.
Food Team: Growing support for local food systems that nourish people and the planet.
