About the Workshop

Get your hands in the clay

Whether you've never touched clay before or you simply want a creative afternoon away from the everyday, Earthy Creations is designed for you. We slow down, connect with natural materials, and make something genuinely beautiful with our hands.

Over 2.5 hours you'll explore a range of handbuilding and sculpting techniques — from pinching and coiling through to leaf and flower printing — guided gently at your own pace. No wheels, no firing kilns, no pressure.

We use premium air dry clay that requires no kiln, meaning your creations are practical to take home that same day. Once fully dry (approximately one week), you're welcome to return to the studio to paint and seal your piece, giving it a truly finished, one-of-a-kind look.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience with clay or pottery?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for all abilities, including complete beginners. Our instructor will walk you through every technique step by step. The most important thing is curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

What ages is this suitable for?

Earthy Creations is recommended for adults and teens. If you'd like to bring a younger child, please get in touch and we'll let you know if the session is appropriate for their age.

What should I wear?

Aprons are provided in the studio, but we do recommend wearing clothes you're comfortable in. Clay is generally easy to wash off but it's always best to be prepared!

Can I take my piece home the same day?

Yes! Because we use air dry clay (no kiln required), you can take your piece home at the end of the session. It will need approximately one week to fully dry before it's ready to be painted and sealed.

How does the painting and sealing session work?

Once your piece has dried for around a week, you're welcome to return to the studio for a separate paint and seal session. This is a great way to add colour and a professional finish to your creation. Ask about availability when booking your main session.

Is this suitable as a gift or group booking?
