Easter Bunny Fun Run (Family Fun Day)
Event description
Come along to our Easter Bunny Fun Run event by the lake at Mawson Lakes. Rotary is raising funds for its northern suburbs domestic and family violence project which purchases home starter kits for individuals setting up new homes after leaving an abusive relationship. The Fun Run starts at 10:30am.
The fun run, jog or walk for adults, children, infants in strollers and dogs on leads follows the Park Run route around the lake. You are encouraged to dress up to reflect the Easter theme and join in the community fun for a good cause.
If you registered for our cancelled Halloween run in October 22, you may want to dust off that costume instead of putting on your bunny ears!
This event is part of our Easter Family Fun Day being held in the same location between 10 am and 3pm. While you are there, check out the community market stalls, free children's entertainment (jumping castle, face painting and glitter, children's activities) and live music.  It is also a time to enjoy the special atmosphere of the local cafes. The cafe precinct will become a pedestrian mall between 8am and 5pm
The Family Fun Day and Easter Bunny Fun Run are generously supported by a City of Salisbury Community Event Grant and sponsorship from the REAL Estate Agents Group Mawson Lakes, the Member for Florey, Michael Brown and Member for Playford John Fulbrook, Gillian Aldridge OAM, Mayor City of Salisbury, Chad Buchanan Deputy Mayor, City of Salisbury and Seeds Montessori. This means that 100% of proceeds raised on the day will go to support Rotary Projects.
