Eastern Region Service Forum 2024 Responsive & Responsible
Event description
Area H is hosting the 2024 Eastern Region Service Forum 5:30pm Friday 23 August 2024 to Sunday 25 August 2024 1:00pm
Regional Forums provide local and visiting AA members with the opportunity to meet members of the General Service Board, Office staff, Area Delegates from all around the Region.
This weekend is not only a celebration of the immeasurable impact our Trusted Servants have on our Fellowship and the security of it’s future but will also be a valuable source of information derived through the sharing of strategies and ideas other Areas are implementing to carry the AA message more effectively.
We have an exciting list of speakers, workshop leaders and facilitators (stay tuned for the program to follow. To be announced over the coming weeks), all passionate and dedicated Servants who talk the talk and most definitely walk the walk of AA Service and embody the Spirit of Carrying the Message to the alcoholic who still suffers
This year’s forum will be held in a historical conference centre on the banks of the Nepean River in Castlereagh Castlereagh Conference Centre link
For the first time in recent memory the Forum will offer full accommodation and meals Friday through Sunday for $250 eliminating the need to source local accommodation and reducing travel during the weekend. If you prefer not to sleep over the weekend registration is $50 including all meals. There is a small additional cost for "special meals" $20. Please let us know if you wont be present for all meals from Friday to Sunday so we can plan for catering.
