Join us online and learn how to use simple language, images and formatting to make information easier to understand.

When: Wednesday 1st May 2024

Time: 9:15am - 1:00pm

How: This training will be run using the Microsoft Teams platform. The event link will be emailed out the day prior to the event. 

 

While this training is conducted online, a hard copy participant pack will be posted to each attendee the week before the event. The pack will contain printouts of workshop activities and resources that will support your learning on the day. You will need to ensure you have your participant pack with you on the day of the training so that you can complete the tasks alongside the presenter and other group participants. The participant pack resources are for use by the participant attending the online workshop only and are not to be shared or reproduced.

  

This Easy Read training includes lots of practical activities to get you started on developing your own Easy Read skills!

The training is co-facilitated by a person with intellectual disability giving valuable insight from their lived experience.

You'll even receive an Easy Read guide for creating and testing your own Easy Read resources.

• Creating your own Easy Read resource.
