Event description
Eat For Good 2 is a food focused event to showcase, bring together, and raise money for individual and organisational gender affirming care and gender diverse people.
Eat For Good 2 will be held on the 11th of May, from 11am - 5pm (location announced closer to this date). Tickets are a $25-$40 sliding scale donation with all funds going to gender affirming care, gender diverse people, and paying the rent. Delicious food and drinks will be available for purchase on the day, as well as beautiful music to listen to, art to view, and activities to participate in.
While last years Eat For Good 1 was a fundraiser for Milo's scar revision surgery and the PARA Foundation, dreamt up by Chile and Milo and pulled off with help from our nearest and dearest, this years Eat For Good 2 will be completely by gender diverse people, for gender diverse people. From the food, to the space, to the music, the haircuts, and this poster, everything is and will be created by trans and gender diverse people. The money will be split between a number of individual gender affirming care funds, as well as local organisations that provide support to the trans and gender diverse people we can’t always get to. Stay tuned as we update you on where Eat For Good’s funds will be going.
Trans and gender diverse people are some of the strongest, most talented, and most deserving people we know. Come to Eat For Good 2 on the 11th of May to celebrate these talents and get trans people the life changing gender affirming care they deserve.
This poster is a painting done by the incredible and ever generous Clare Wigney.
