EAT YOUR HEART OUT: A Long Lunch weaving Sensuality, Science and Self care.
Event description
For many, February is the month of love. We know that this time can commonly be associated with romance and intimacy, but too often it’s convoluted with consumerism and the same kind of hetero-normative love. We believe in love and all of its nuances, and we know that in order to love the hardest we must understand our own origins of love, too.
We wanted to see a new offering this Valentine's season, one that is founded on women empowerment and artful expression of intimacy and love. We've set about curating a bespoke menu and sensual safe space for you to join us for a lingerie-clad event where we want to redefine what intimacy means for modern women and all the ways that we can give and receive love.
Join us for a lingerie adorned long lunch where we will weave education, mindful eating and our own intimate workshop with certified holistic Sex & Relationship Therapist Melissa Vranjes. Here, we encourage guests to play with their food and learn about what pleasure and presence might mean to them. Think candles, juicy fruit, elegant lingerie and a stripped back celebration of womanhood. Be our Valentine?
Each ticket includes:
- A intricately curated long lunch filled with mindful eating, education and indulgence.
- 1 x OHEN bra and brief set.
- 1 x BRUXA official sensual care set.
- A tailored workshop with Certified Holistic Sex and Relationship Therapist Melissa Vranjes focusing on play, pleasure and presence.
Note:
1. This event is designed by women, for womxn. It is our first time offering a womxn-only event and we extend our welcome to anyone identifying as a womxn to participate. Please note that much of the workshop and event content is centered around themes of femininity, sensuality and wellness in the context of womxn and women anatomy. More importantly, this is a safe space for womxn to listen, relax, gather and celebrate our love for our feminine.
2. Wearing lingerie at this event is a celebration of the safe spaces able to be fostered through womanhood. It is an experience we often (or never) encounter and we ask for this to be embraced. If you feel more comfortable wearing a robe, please feel free to bring this along, think something silky, sexy that cultivates ultimate elegance. If you'd like a robe but don't currently have one, email us at contact@neighbourhoodnz.com and we can provide you one to keep for $35/pp.
