Emerging Concert Artists - Sharing the Joy of Music

Lyla Levy-Jordan, mezzo soprano with John Martin, piano

Art Songs & Arias by Rossini, Strauss, Debussy and Bolcom

Lyla Levy-Jordan is an Australian-French singer who graduated with an Artist Master's degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Lyla is supported by the Ian Potter Foundation and, among her 2025 highlights, she has performed with Opera Australia Young Artist Program and is a finalist in the Sydney Eisteddfod Operatic Scholarship (June 27th 2025).

Australian pianist John Martin performs nationally and internationally, collaborates with leading ensembles, records extensively, composes original works, and appears regularly on ABC Classic. His repertoire spans classical, contemporary, and Australian music.

The Emerging Concert Artist Series is an initiative of St Jude’s Music Association in conjunction with Inspire Music Australia. The Series connects the next generation of musicians with regional communities to share the joy of music. As a free concert, it ensures accessibility to all within the community.
