Event description

The Annual General Meeting for Early Childhood Council Incorporated will be on Thursday 8 August at the Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch. This will be the same room that ECC is using that day for the ECC Networking Event (lunch).

AGM Registration process

At the AGM, the business will include receipt of the annual report and annual statement of accounts, election of officers and members of the Executive Committee and any other business (such as motions etc).

The Early Childhood Council is New Zealand’s largest incorporated society in the Early Childhood Education sector. We represent the interests of independent early learning services and promote the provision of quality early childhood education. Just like the sector, our membership is diverse and comprises of community owned centres, privately owned centres and voluntary groups from a range of locations across the country. Our focus is on supporting centres to be successful by representing their best interests and providing advocacy when required. We understand the value of early learning and encourage centres to surpass the minimum requirements set by the Ministry of Education.
