Event description

A Masterclass in Electrocardiogram Interpretation

Participants will be able to:

  • Review the ECG diagnostic criteria for ischaemia and infarction

  • Approach to recognising ST elevation myocardial infarction on ECG

  • Highlight the subtle signs of ischaemia and infarction on ECG

  • ECG recognition and interpretation of common tachyarrhythmias & bradyarrhythmia's

  • Recognise important ECG changes in electrolyte abnormalities

  • Review the role of ECG in Toxinology

This program is suitable for ALL staff who work in the Emergency and Acute Care Setting. Particularly Medical Staff, RMO's/JMO's, Associateship in Emergency Medicine Candidates- Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced, Nurses, GPs, Career and Volunteer Paramedics, and Medical and Nursing Students

Lunch is included.

Places are limited and priority will be given to individuals who provide emergency care in Mount Gambier and the Limestone Coast Network and surrounds.
