Event description

We are thrilled to invite you to our EChO National Reconciliation Week film screening of Kindred in collaboration with Pennington Children's Centre.
When Gillian Moody and Adrian Russell Wills met making their first short film together, little did they know that 25 years later they would be best friends. They turned to each other in navigating the emotional rollercoaster of being adopted into white families, and when connecting back with their bloodlines. Kindred explores the importance of discovering your place in the world and realising that home and love truly can be found in the people and places your heart connects to.

An autobiographical story about the removal of Aboriginal children from their birth families, Kindred is also a celebration of friendship, unconditional love and resilience.

Join us on Thursday 29 May from 4.15pm-6.00pm at Pennington Children's Centre.

Light refreshments included.
