About us:

Ruby Solly (Waitaha, Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe) is a polymath who is bad at math, living on the old riwai plantation of her Kāti Māmoe ancestors in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She is a musician and a taonga pūoro practitioner, with a PhD in public health focusing on the use of taonga pūoro in hauora Māori. The work most important to Ruby is helping to share matauraka around taonga pūoro to those who need it most, and should have had it all along.

Jonny Marks is a singer with training in khoomei. His approach is not traditional, he chooses to use the techniques to stretch and manipulate the voice in order to find resonance within the shared space, holding both physics and humanity in mind.

Erika Grant is a musician and astrologer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She has 30+ years musical experience. Erika has an interest in the healing properties of sound for mental and physical wellbeing, which she currently explores through her gong bathing practice.
