I had a great time playing with last week’s guest, Leo Olivier from The Witchy Djypsies, a beautiful slide guitar player!

This week’s guest is Leon Ewing (Sonnenmasse), Who I previously collaborated on a Yoga event with called Hypha Reality.  He’s a sound artist and creator of YOGA NĀDA, an immersive dark ambient yoga experience that debuted at Rechabite Hall. Leon will perform vocal mantras, bass guitar, and drone synthesis.

Step into a world of mesmerizing live music as Reuben Doodjarak presents Echoes of the East: A Sound Immersion. This one-hour weekly event invites you to relax and drift into richly textured soundscapes inspired by Middle Eastern traditions, performed live by Reuben and an ever-changing lineup of guest musicians.

Reuben’s signature sound blends the evocative tones of the sitar guitar and oud guitar, creating a hypnotic fusion of exotic scales and resonant harmonies. Enhanced with lush reverbs, looping layers, and delicate delays, his music transports listeners on a journey of deep relaxation and sonic exploration.

To enhance your experience, blankets, bolsters, yoga mats, and blocks are provided, allowing you to fully unwind in comfort.

This is an intimate event in a small studio, so be sure to book your spot in advance to secure your place.

The Heart Place Studio is located upstairs, above Hinata Cafe. To find it, enter the cafe and take the stairs on your right. Follow the stairs up to reach Heart Place Studio. The studio is part of the Fibonacci Centre, a large silver and purple building.
