Echoes of the Land - Storytelling and Storycatching Workshop
Event description
Join other community members to listen to the stories of the land where we live… and to tell your own.
Monbulk, Monboluk “hiding place in the hills” meeting place. Echoes of the Land workshop brings people together to reflect on place, memory, and the legacy we want to plant for future generations.
Through story circles, creative expression, and shared reflection, we’ll explore:
The emotional and ecological stories we carry
What it means to belong to a place
Hopes we hold for the land and our communities
Activities include memory mapping, story sharing, writing a postcard to the next generation — creating space for personal insight and collective vision.
This is an invitation to speak, listen, and imagine your hopes for the future.
Hosted by Nangana Landcare Network, facilitated by Kim Boswell, The Forever Agenda, sponsored by Yarra Ranges Council
