Event description

Come and get your hands dirty these school holidays! 🌱

Looking for a fun and educational way to engage your kids in sustainability? Join us for a hands-on garden workshop where children (and their grown-ups) can explore how easy and rewarding it is to grow and care for our environment.

Together we’ll:

  • Wander through the urban food garden at the Inner West Sustainability Hub

  • Learn how to propagate plants and start your own food garden at home

  • Discover how composting works (and why it doesn’t have to stink!)

  • Create and take home your own seed bombs to green up your space

This workshop is designed for families who want to make green living fun and practical in everyday life.

👉 Event details:

  • Free for children and their accompanying guardian

  • Maximum 2 children per adult

  • Snacks provided

  • Suitable for school-aged children

Come along and spark a love of gardening and sustainability in your household!
