Event description

Unwrap Creativity This Holiday Season!

Join us for a hands-on workshop where eco-conscious craft lovers will dive into sustainable, festive fun by creating their very own upcycled fabric gift wraps. Embrace the Japanese art of furoshiki and make one-of-a-kind, reusable gift wraps that are perfect for a season of giving. With hand-carved Christmas-themed stamps, you’ll design beautiful fabric wraps that celebrate creativity and environmental responsibility.

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Learn the art of furoshiki — a traditional Japanese method of wrapping gifts using fabric, loved for its beauty and eco-friendly values.
  • Experiment with hand-carved stamps and stencils to create festive holiday designs, giving each wrap a personal, meaningful touch.
  • Take home several uniquely stamped fabric wraps ready to use for your own gifts, or to be treasured as keepsakes and used for future holidays.

We’ll provide all materials, including upcycled fabrics and a variety of pre-made holiday stamps. Plus, enjoy festive refreshments to keep the holiday cheer high while you craft!

Get ready to transform your holiday wrapping tradition into a sustainable, creative experience that’s as fun as it is eco-friendly.
