Land Without Evil - (3 mins 50 secs) - Throughout history people have been searching for a perfect place; their own slice of Eden. However, the question should be whether we can find Eden/paradise within our own being?
This short film, based on Guaraní mythology (Tierra sin mal), offers another point of view on paradise: what if the real paradise is inside us, and lies in the harmony and unity of everything alive?
This beautiful handcrafted stop motion animation, set to world music, shows a vision of paradise on earth where all creatures live in harmony and unity.
The Little Bird and the Caterpillar - (4 mins 20 secs) - The little bird has plenty of peace and quiet high up in its tree, at least until an unexpected guest shows up. The brash caterpillar is keen on devouring the green leaves that the little bird has cared for so tenderly. During the ensuing showdown, the two fail to notice that someone else is hard on their heels - the fox - who is interested in a more savoury snack. A delightful animation for all ages!
The Little Bird and the Squirrel - (4 mins 20 secs) - It is autumn. There is one last colourful leaf hanging at the end of a long branch. The little black bird would like to water it, but the squirrel snatches away the watering can and begins hopping with it from tree to tree. The little bird follows the cheeky thief but then the fiery red fox comes stalking...
Pond - (8 mins 30 secs) - A shoal of herrings, adopting fantastic formations, roams the vast ocean. When seagulls suddenly attack, one small herring finds itself stranded in a tidal pool. As searches desperately for a way out, it discovers many other sea creatures here. And now there is no time for fear: only by joining forces can they hope to defend themselves against the hungry seagull.
This cheeky animation delivers a fun romp through the seas!
