Eco Rest - exploring natural death matters
Event description
Eco Rest - Exploring Natural Death Matters
Join our conversation to discuss what is happening in the Blue Mountains about natural burials and human composting.
A forum facilitated by Jude Warren.
Jude is a long term Blue Mountains resident. As a registered community nurse in palliative care both in the UK and here in the Blue Mountains, she understands that death is not always an easy journey.
She is an explorer of life, someone who deeply understands the connection we all have as part of nature. She is an advocate for Human Composting, known as Natural Organic Reduction (NOR), as well as more natural burial sites here in Australia.
After living back in the UK and visiting many places around the world, she is excited to see the momentum that is building about these and other aspects of death care.Â
Her vision is for people to have more understanding of the importance of natural death matters. So that they can openly discuss, collaborate and choose from a place of empowerment.
