Join ecoBiz and researchers from the Sustainability Transitions Lab at Monash Business School for an interactive workshop exploring how circular economy principles can create new opportunities for businesses.
This engaging session will introduce the new ecoBiz Circular Economy Module and provide an opportunity for businesses to share feedback on practical tools designed to support circular business models and resource efficiency planning.
During this workshop, you will:
Learn about the ecoBiz Circular Economy Module
Explore circular economy opportunities that can help reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and create business value
Hear insights from circular economy expert Dr Nicole Garofano from Planet Ark on practical tools, frameworks and support available to help businesses take action
Share your perspective on the tools and resources businesses need to adopt circular economy practices
Provide feedback on new tools being developed to help businesses identify and implement circular economy opportunities

This workshop will introduce the ecoBiz Circular Economy module, share insights from emerging findings, and invite participants to express their interest in upcoming market testing activities for the toolkit. (Includes a morning tea break.)

Dr Nicole Garofano
Dr Nicole Garofano is a circular economy specialist with more than 20 years of experience in environmental education, material recovery and sustainability strategy. As former Head of Circular Economy Development at Planet Ark, she led the Australian Circular Economy Hub and holds a PhD focused on innovation across the plastic food and beverage packaging value chain. Nicole brings extensive expertise and practical insights into the tools, frameworks and strategies that help businesses turn circular economy principles into practical action.
