EcoFest Biodynamic Hot Compost build at the Auckland Women's Centre

A hands on hot compost build for students of the Blue Borage online course 'Hot Compost' and supporters of the Auckland Women's Centre in Grey Lynn
We'll start the hot compost build at 10am, finish by 1pm
If we've only met on Zoom calls, then this is a great chance to meet in person and get our hands in the soil together.

If you haven't yet done the Blue Borage Hot Compost online course and you want to learn the theory of this method ahead of the workshop, then you can access the online course here:

The workshop will be mostly hands on building with minimal theory, but it's up to you if you want to do the online course before we meet or afterwards.
What to bring:
- Gumboots, or sturdy shoes suited to gardening.
- Wear suitable clothes for gardening. We will go ahead in light rain.
- Gardening gloves.
- Sunhat, water bottle, and please remember to put on some sunscreen in the morning.
