Description

Join business leaders from across the Riverina Murray for an Economic Long Lunch designed to provide timely insight and foresight into the economic conditions shaping business decisions, investment and growth.

Bringing together economic analysis, business advocacy and a distinctly regional perspective, the event will explore the forces influencing our economy, from international and national trends through to the opportunities and challenges facing businesses here in the Riverina Murray.

Madeline Dunk, ANZ Economist, will provide an economic outlook, examining the global and Australian economic landscape and translating key trends into what they could mean for regional economies, industries and businesses.

Nathan Wallawork, Head of Policy and Advocacy at Business NSW, will bring the business and policy perspective, exploring the current challenges being experienced by businesses and the advocacy priorities needed to address them. Nathan will consider the policy levers that can drive meaningful change, improve the operating environment for business and support stronger regional economies.

Together, the presentations will give business leaders a valuable global-to-local perspective, helping them better understand the economic landscape, anticipate what may be ahead and consider the implications for their own organisations.

More than an economic update, this Long Lunch is an opportunity to look beyond the headlines, understand the forces shaping our region and join the conversation about what business needs to prosper.
