CALLING IN ALL BASS LOVERS!

The end of the year fast approaches and we think it's time to celebrate.. and what better way to welcome in the holiday season than with a dance journey fully immersed in crunchy yummy soundwaves. Blase and Lady Fem have been hard at work serving the dance community all year, offering dance in Somatic & Ecstatic communities around the world and offered multiple trainings. The power of movement continually reminds us of how important it is to cultivate our relationship between the mind and the body. BUT... not this time! 

THIS TIME IS ABOUT THE MUSIC. BASS MUSIC. We have secured a venue and an epic new OPUS sound system which is designed to offer the deepest bass lines available. Come and discover just how far down your lower lips can go when you make Bass faces that you didnt know you could. It is about to be ON my friends, so get ready. Our intention is to curate a dance journey that will get you in the hips and down low and experience Joy and quality wobbles. 

This will be an Ecstatic Style dance with light facilitation at the beginning to drop us into the body. Then the music will speak for itself throughout the journey. 

We will have a selection of deserts to share afterwards and opportunity to sit and chat with the community. if you feel called to bring a plate or something to share after then that would be greatly appreciated too. 

If you wish to get close to the speakers and feel the frequency to the core of your bones, we recommend noise reductions headphones. Available at any music store for less than $50 - Highly recommend for festivals as well just fyi. 

 No prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome.Come and move your body to the rhythm of you, ready to deepen your connection with yourself and others.The recipe is simple: No booze, shoes or talking in the dance, epic music and a beautiful group of humans.Fully embody your truest expression, release stuck energies and allow movement out of the mind and into the body. Wear clothes you are comfortable moving in (layers are great), bring a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity! 

We welcome you in any time from 6.45pm for a 7pm start.$20-$30 per person; cash on the door or purchase your ticket:

We have adopted a two tier ticket option:
$20 supported dancers, we want to continue to make our dances accessible
$30 supporting dancers, for those who feel more abundant and are able to support us to get more SUBS 

If price is a barrier to attending, please reach out to us and we can work something out, an additional hand with tasks on the day is often appreciated.Our dance spaces are designed for adults to create a space where you are able to freely explore and express. As part of this, we do request that alternate arrangements are made to care for any children while you attend. LadyFem, Somatic Dance Facilitator
LadyFem has been journeying through the embodiment landscape for many years and resonates most deeply with practices steeped in tradition. She is a certified Somatic Dance Facilitator and Traditional Tantric practitioner. A dance floor activator and container creator; she invites others into a fuller, more authentic expression of themselves. Her desire is to support and inspire you into deeper knowing of yourself as the radiant being you are.BLASE; Soundscape Creator

BLASE is an Auckland based DJ & producer known for his diverse, multi-genre music journeys where dancers are guided on a curious and empowering experience out of the mind and into the body.Blase is an alchemist of frequency and his love for dance and embodiment translates through his music, complimenting the entire journey with highs and lows, making sure every movement possibility is explored.You can expect a smooth dance wave with Ecstatic highs to deep bassy lows and everything in between. Blase pays particular attention to the subtle energy’s of dance and is always sure to land the dance floor and its nervous system safely back to the Earth before closing.
