Ecstatic Dance Fort Worth is coming back — slowly, intentionally, and with care. What once existed is being reimagined, rooted even deeper in community, presence, and the power of movement!

You’re invited into a space where you can move freely, release what’s been held, and reconnect to yourself through non-performative, freeform dance.

We dance without talking on the floor, allowing the experience to be inward and intuitive. The music will guide you through a wave — building, opening, and softening — while the space is held with clear boundaries to support emotional and physical safety.

Whether this is your first dance or you’ve been here before, this is an opportunity to be part of a new beginning!

Come as you are and don’t overthink it! We look forward to dancing with you!

Live DJ set by : Sarah Sampson

Sarah Sampson is the director of the Dallas Movement Collective, an organization cultivating creative spaces for embodied learning, and co-founder of Mind Body Ecology Institute, a nonprofit devoted to Earth-care and community wellbeing.

Her path into this work began in the classroom as a social-emotional learning elementary teacher. Today, Sarah works at the intersection of embodiment, education, and healing through Embodied Youth 360, supporting children and training facilitators around the world to bring this work into schools and communities.

Sarah is also a student and teacher of The 360 Emergence, a practice of radical presence and freeform movement. She believes the body is a gateway home.

In 2016, Sarah co-founded the original Fort Worth ecstatic dance community alongside Emily Ashley, Brynn Burne, and Analiese Hill. Nearly a decade later, she could not be more thrilled (or more proud) to witness the torch re-lit and carried forward by the deeply capable Rose Bud, whose devotion to the practice and steady study have beautifully prepared her to meet this moment.

Across dance floors, classrooms and many ever-widening circles, Sarah’s work is devoted to helping people remember their wholeness and communities discover their capacity to flourish, together.
