ECSTATIC DANCE

Ecstatic dance welcomes you into your body through the practice of free-form movement. Leave everyday experience behind and get lost in the moment on a musical journey with no set steps. Our facilitator guides the session, offering only suggestions to let you welcome sensation, explore emotion, and move into those places where your body is calling. With musical selections from around the world on a warm sound system, set yourself free and embrace the essential human experience of dance.

What to bring:

- Comfortable clothes to dance in. We dance barefoot but can make exceptions for those with foot injuries.

- A drink bottle.

- Please avoid the use of heavy perfumes or deodorants.

The rules of ecstatic dance:

1. No alcohol or drugs

2. No talking

3. No judgement

4. No physical contact without enthusiastic consent
